Ambition Programme
The Ambition Programme is open to all students, regardless of their chosen pathway, who aspire to maximize their potential and enhance their prospects beyond the A-level curriculum. A range of tailored opportunities provide exposure to professional environments, advanced academic learning, and valuable networking opportunities. Engaging in the programme enables students to gain practical experience, deepen their knowledge, and forge connections that will bolster academic and career aspirations.
EPQ
The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) is a valuable sixth form qualification that allows students to explore a topic of their choice in depth. By conducting independent research, writing up your findings and delivering a presentation, students develop essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation abilities. We are proud to offer this opportunity to all students at Wolverley Sixth Form.
Universities and employers regard the EPQ highly, as it demonstrates a student’s ability to manage independent projects and showcases their commitment to learning. This qualification not only enriches your academic profile but also provides a unique opportunity to engage with a subject you are passionate about, making it an impressive addition to your university applications and interviews.
Duke of Edinburgh
At Wolverley Sixth Form, we are proud to offer the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the world’s leading youth achievement programme. Aligned with our ethos of providing limitless opportunities, this award allows all students to challenge themselves and reach their full potential. By participating, you'll develop essential skills such as independence, resilience, and communication—qualities that will support your personal growth and prepare you for future success.
