- Our Surroundings
Our school is set on 27 acres in the beautiful surroundings of Wolverley, part of the Wyre Forest District of Worcestershire.
The area has a rich history and was recorded in the Doomsday Book in 1086.
We are firm believers that the stunning scenery does help to inspire our students. We try to use the whole of the school landscape as an extension of the classroom to develop ‘Ambition Unlimited’.
Our surroundings enable our students to interact with the environment and the clean fresh air this provides, as well as helping to develop an understanding of the climate and habitats within our school grounds.
We are lucky enough to have our Animal Centre. This enables students to get involved in animal care and really experience what it is like working in a rural setting.
We also use our surroundings to provide spacious physical education facilities, which include our astroturf pitch, newly renovated grass pitches and community sports hub, a mountain bike trail, gymnasium, sports hall, and dry ski slope.
Thanks to our surroundings, our students and the local community have the chance to enjoy the beauty of Wolverley CE Secondary School and our wonderful surroundings.
