The Platinum Award is the highest level of recognition within the School Games Mark framework and reflects sustained excellence in participation, competition, leadership, workforce development, and extracurricular provision. Our PE department provides a wide range of sporting opportunities, enabling students to participate in both recreational and competitive activities throughout the academic year. Through strong links with local clubs and community organisations, students are encouraged to develop their skills, pursue their sporting interests, and engage in lifelong physical activity. Opportunities extend beyond curriculum lessons and include extracurricular clubs, inter-school competitions, leadership programmes, and inclusive festivals. Student leadership is a key strength of our provision, with young leaders actively supporting events, officiating competitions, and promoting participation among their peers. We are committed to ensuring that sport and physical activity are accessible to everyone, creating an inclusive environment where all students, regardless of ability or background, can experience success, enjoyment, and personal growth through PE and school sport.

This week has been Wolverley Sixth Form transition days and our new students have been working hard in our Sixth Form, crossing the bridge between secondary school and Sixth Form life! From deep critical analysis of English authors; honing their cooking skills for Health and Social care to scientific observations and dissections in Biology, our students are getting a real taste of Key stage 5 life! They've also been treated to a cold frosty treat to stay cool under the sun, paired with some engaging team building activities and ice breakers, our future year 12s are excited for their summer break and we look forward to welcoming them to Sixth Form in September!

🌟Product Design GCSE final products 🌟 We have some final products awaiting collection from school. Unfortunately we do not have the storage space to keep them in the D&T department at the end of the year. If you would like to collect the products, please can we ask that you do so before 10th July.

CALLING ALL YEAR 11 STUDENTS! Do you have copies of your English texts that are not being read? Do you have revision guides that are gathering dust? If so, drop these in at reception and we will happily rehome these to future students!
