What a brilliant day of hands-on sustainability learning! 🌍✨
On Wednesday, we were delighted to welcome Emily from SOS-UK, who led an inspiring session with our students exploring some of today’s most important environmental challenges – from the greenhouse effect to the future of food.
Students took part in a range of practical activities, including identifying areas around the school that were too hot, cold, light or dark, and even visiting the boiler rooms to see how our heating systems work in real life.
They also engaged in thoughtful discussions, debating the pros and cons of solar farms, before collaborating to prioritise ideas for our school’s future sustainability policy.
Mrs Harper was incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, insight and teamwork shown throughout the day. Look out for more sustainability projects coming soon! 🌱
