🌿💚 We are incredibly proud to announce that we have been awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag with Distinction in recognition of all the fantastic work our school community has achieved this year! A huge thank you to our amazing students, whose passion and commitment have made this possible. Throughout the year they have: 🌱 Planned, written and delivered Collective Worship across the school, inspiring others to care for our environment. ♻️ Represented our school at the Stourport Countryside Fair, showcasing fantastic products made from recycled and upcycled materials. 🌼 Continued to develop our British wildflower garden, now in its second year, which has bloomed beautifully and provides a valuable haven for bees, butterflies and other wildlife. We are especially proud of this feedback from our Eco-Schools assessment: "Saving energy has been your greatest success this year. Enjoying external workshops, competitions, and internal activities has all contributed to your reduction of energy, and that—coupled with your new solar panels—has made a remarkable difference. You have shown real commitment to understanding how energy is used, how it can be saved, and how renewable sources can support a more sustainable future for your school." Berlin Trip 🌇 We landed safely in Berlin on Sunday morning! After a 1am start in the UK, we arrived full of excitement and headed straight out from Alexanderplatz. Twenty-four hours and very little sleep later, we had explored many of Berlin's most significant historical sights on a fascinating guided tour. A huge thank you to Mr Poulton, whose expert knowledge and enthusiasm brought the city's history to life. A fantastic first day, and we're looking forward to seeing what the rest of the trip has in store!
