Dry ski slope

We are pleased to announce that we can now take bookings for tubing sessions and ski lessons.

Our floodlit dry slope is available for affordable group lessons, recreational skiing and skiing/tubing parties. Wolverley is one of only two schools in the country to have its own dry ski slope, so if you need some quality tuition, book your group on one of our one hour sessions. Floodlights are available until 9pm.

AstroTurf Pitch

The brand new, second generation sand based AstroTurf pitch is available to hire every evening and all weekend for local groups, clubs or recreational use. Floodlights are available until 9pm. Pitch dimensions are ideal for 5 a side or 9 a side matches/practise. There are full changing and showering facilities available upon request.

Gymnasium

This is a flexible space of 238 m2. The gymnasium has a fully sprung hardwood beech floor and is suitable for dance, drama and most sports. This is an ideal space for exercise classes, gymnastic/trampoline clubs, table tennis or multi-sport sessions. The area is also suitable for large meetings or non-sport related activities.

Grass Pitches

The grass pitches are situated close to the school and comply with the specification of Sport England. The pitches are serviced to a very high standard and offer top quality playing surfaces. There are full changing, showering and catering facilities very close by making it an ideal venue for tournaments, matches or practice. There are both adult and mini soccer pitches available, as well as an artificial cricket strip and full sized rugby pitch.

Sports Hall

The sports hall is four badminton court sized and is suitable for all sports and activities. Lighting lux levels and floor markings in the sports hall are suitable for competition standard basketball, volleyball, netball and badminton. There are also indoor 5-a-side football goals and markings and cricket nets for indoor training. We have also just had a brand new roof fitted.

Large Classrooms

Our larger classrooms are ideal for meetings of up to 35 people. All classrooms have digital projectors and interactive whiteboards and are covered by the schools wifi, which can be made available upon request.

Animal Experience

Our unique animal centre houses over 30 species of animal and offers provision for SEN learners, animal therapy, workshops for Scouts/Brownies/Beavers/Guides, holiday clubs, primary school workshops and hosts annual events.

Sebright Hall

Perfect for performances, rehearsals, conferences and fashion shows. There is a substantial stage with a 238m squared auditorium that has visual equipment and seating for 350. This performance space is one of the best around and would really help to make any performance stand out. Sound and lighting support is available upon request.

IT Computer Rooms

Wolverley have numerous, high quality IT suites available for hire out of school hours. All suites are furnished to a high standard, with quality IT equipment throughout. Suites are particularly suited to Adult Education courses or online learning.

Outdoor Courts

Our newly refurbished large outdoor courts have line markings for tennis and netball. There are full changing and showering facilities very close by making it an ideal venue for matches or practice.

Dining Hall (The Hub)

This is a flexible space of 150m squared and is ideal for use as a meeting space for large groups. There is pull out seating available upon request or the facility can be hired empty for dance or exercise classes.
