Assistant Headteacher

Favourite subject at school

At school I loved History, Maths and PE, but my Science teachers inspired me to look at the world through a different lens. That then led me to studying Biology at university.

Hobbies

When I was younger my evenings and weekends were spent playing cricket and golf, but now I am a keen runner having completed multiple marathons and half marathons.

My favourite holidays involve skiing abroad or hiking around Scotland.

One of the best pieces of advice I was given when at school, was to never stop reading.

About me

I was born in Sunderland and lived in the north-east until I was 18 years old, before going to the University of St Andrews.

I've lived in Worcestershire for most of my adult life, and I am married with a young daughter who will soon be going to Primary School.

One message I try to always pass on to young people is that you should never compare yourself to other people. Instead, you should focus on your own pathway to success to make sure that you fulfil your own potential.
